Workshops

News from Cape Cod Potters

23

Held October 23rd & 24th, 2010
at Barnstable High School

This workshop focused on larger than life utilitarian pottery for occasional use. Tony paid close attention to the details on larger than life casseroles, pitchers, bowls and plates so they may be used for celebration and presentation.

Tony's workshop was both fun and "intense". His pottery is very detailed and has very specific definition.

Tony's self description of his work:

"My specialty over the years has been sectional or composite throwing where I add many pieces together to make one vessel. Students that normally cannot throw more than a few pounds of clay often throw with ease 3-5 times as much after the session."
